Serendipity: Designing for Cultural Impact – A Living Framework
Arup, One Centenary Way, Birmingham B3 3AY
Free entry

Explore how arts spaces can be reimagined not only as buildings, but as living frameworks that reflect identity, foster resilience, and drive cultural and economic value. Through an evening of talks we aim to connect key disciplines—design, policy, operations, and programming—around a shared vision for cultural infrastructure and the positive impacts for communities.
Celebrating the presence in Birmingham of Serendipity Arts Festival, marking their 10th anniversary, we invite you to join us as we explore international best practice and celebrate Birmingham’s place as a hub for cultural exchange and excellence.
As part of the event we are delighted to hear from Smriti Rajgarhia, Director of the Serendipity Arts Foundation, ahead of the beginning of the festival. This is a unique opportunity to hear from an inspirational cultural leader about the strategy for one of India’s biggest multidisciplinary arts events.
