Animation of 3 figures in cloaks stood in a red sky forest

Directed by Jonathan Woolf
Casting by Danièle Sanderson

Macbeth, a Scottish nobleman, encounters three witches on a desolate moor who prophesy his future. They address him in three ways: first, as his title, the Thane of Glamis. Second, as the Thane of Cawdor, a title he will soon inherit by King Duncan’s decree.

And finally–as the future king.

Lighting his desire for power and spurred on by his ambitious wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan to seize the throne. Consumed by guilt, he spirals into madness, committing more murders, marking the beginning of his downfall.

Uncover the destructive effects of political ambition and how greed, guilt, and paranoia turn Macbeth from a noble thane into a bloody tyrant.

This performance lasts approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes including an interval.
