Juliet: Crafting A Legacy - film premiere

In 2021, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire commissioned William Drake Ltd to build a new pipe organ. The specialist organ builders have undertaken a number of high-profile projects, including work for Her Majesty the Queen, St Paul’s Cathedral and The Palace of Westminster.

This documentary tells the story of the creation of the new ‘Juliet’ organ and the profound role it has in inspiring a new generation of musicians at the heart of the local community.

This premiere screening will be accompanied by a short performance on the new Juliet organ, plus Q&A with RBC Head of Organ, Daniel Moult, and Director of William Drake Ltd., Joost de Boer (pictured).
