Highlighting the Global Musicians' League summer festival, celebrated pianist professor Ian Jones, Deputy Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music, will present a concert celebrating the classics. Professor Mark Messenger, the globally renowned Head of Strings from RCM, known for his multifaceted career as a violinist, conductor, teacher, and educationalist, will be a guest collaborator for this special concert. The programme features works by Rachmaninoff, Schubert, Schumann, and Chopin. Ian, a recognised Steinway Artist, has won acclaim for his powerful renditions of iconic concertos by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Grieg. In recognition of his significant contributions to music, Ian was appointed as a Fellow of the Royal College of Music by HRH Prince Charles in 2014.
