Theatre Morrow presents: Refraction

A body is found rotting at the bottom of a canal in Birmingham. Dental records prove it was the corpse of Keiran Reid. A young woman who went missing only two years before. The case is closed, and a funeral is held, but the mystery of her disappearance remains. Who was Keiran Reid? And what happened in those missing years?

From sunny seaside vendors to eccentric burlesque dancers, it’s the human encounters that reveal the many lives of Keiran. Refraction combines theatrical invention, live music, foley (Sound effects) in a bittersweet and thought-provoking drama, posing the question “who is a person when they’ve gone missing?”.
