WALKSHOP - This Wilderness with Martin Kennedy Yates
Join poet Martin Kennedy Yates as he walks you through the pages of This Wilderness – his rich reworking of TS Eliot's seminal poem of place The Waste Land, transposed to the weirded landscape of Digbeth. Bringing the poem’s variety of moods, attitudes, visions and voices to life, the poet leads us through the locations that inspired and informed them, evoking the narratives of this unique territory through poetry prompts and writing suggestions specifically geared towards those who want to write their own place-inspired pieces.
This is a two-hour walking workshop presented in partnership with Walkspace
