Birmingham Literature Festival 2026
VERVE Patron Joelle Taylor in an extended solo performance from Maryville
Quite probably the best poetry performer of her generation, be mesmerised as Joelle Taylor reads and embodies a selection of poems from her excellent latest PBS recommended collection Maryville (Bloomsbury, 2025), itself a follow-up to T.S. Eliot winning C+nto (Westborne Press, 2021).
This will be a stunning, memorable and engaging solo event.
Running time approx. 45 minutes
