Visiting Lecturer

Birmingham School of Acting

Maria is a visiting lecturer at Birmingham School of Acting, teaching contemporary dance and physical theatre on the BA Acting course. Maria’s career spans choreography, film making, teaching and performing. Maria has been commissioned as a choreographer on several high profile projects including a commission by Birmingham City Council to make contemporary dance for film; a commission by the National Health Service (NHS) to celebrate their 60th Anniversary which was performed at the ICC, Birmingham to an audience of 1500 people; as well as choreographing on the Birmingham School of Acting’s full-scale productions of Spring Awakening and A Clockwork Orange.
