Ellie Forrest
Ellie is a voice and accent coach and lecturer based in the West Midlands. She holds a master’s degree with Distinction in Professional Voice Practice from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She currently teaches across all years of the undergraduate and postgraduate acting courses. She specialises in accent and dialect but is skilled in all areas of voice work including practical voice, vocal integration and voice and text.
She offers voice and accent support on professional productions with her most recent credits including The Hairdresser Mysteries (BBC/Mill Bay Media), The Weir (Here to There Productions), Pride and Prejudice (Curve Leicester/Made at Curve) Bhangra Nation (Birmingham Rep), Secret Cinema presents Grease (Secret Cinema) and Fighting Irish (Belgrade Theatre). She also runs her own successful private practice as Ellie the Voice Lady and works with a wide variety of professional voice users.
Ellie previously trained and worked as an actor and also in talent management running a successful voiceover and commercial list at the Narrow Road Company.
