International soloist and one of the world’s finest trombonists Peter Moore will return to the Conservatoire in March 2025 as Visiting Artist in Trombone.

Peter rose to national prominence when he won the 2008 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition at just 12 years of age. In addition to his stellar solo career, Peter was a member of the London Symphony Orchestra between 2014 and 2024.

Peter will work with Brass students and perform as guest soloist with the wind, brass and percussion ensemble in Bradshaw Hall on Friday 7 March 2025. In addition, Peter can be seen performing with the RBC Brass Band, as part of the British Trombone Festival, which the Conservatoire is hosting on 26 - 27 October 2024.

RBC’s Head of Brass Ed Jones said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Pete has agreed to return to RBC as Visiting Artist in Trombone. It’s incredibly exciting to establish this relationship with a true global brass star. Our students will benefit enormously from Pete’s incredible insight, inspirational artistry and infectious enthusiasm.”
