The Hong Kong International Piano Competition is an annual music event, which brings some of the world's foremost pianists, musicians and master teachers to entertain and educate music students and music lovers in Hong Kong.
A large number of renowned Chinese and international pianists and composers were invited to the Grand Final to form a jury, which awarded the first to fifth place in each class and other special awards. Winners received award certificates, trophies and bonuses issued by the organising committee.
Shengpei said: “Taking part in this competition is like a test of my three years' study at RBC. I won the prize in honour of the Conservatoire, and I will keep working hard to improve myself.”
