Acting alumna and former Coronation Street favourite Catherine Tyldesley will make her musical theatre debut as Blanche Barrow in the new Bonnie and Clyde musical.
An “electrifying story of love, adventure and crime”, Bonnie and Clyde was the winner of the Best New Musical Award at this year’s WhatsOn Stage Awards, following a successful run in the West End.
Catherine will star as Blanche, who agrees to join Bonnie and Clyde on their crime spree, as she is married to Clyde’s older brother.
The hit production is directed and choreographed by Nick Winston who is internationally renowned for his work across theatre, opera and film.
The show will start its first-ever UK and Ireland tour at Leicester Curve from 22-24 February 2024. See more dates.
Catherine will be sharing the role with Hollyoaks and Holby City’s Daisy Wood-Davis at certain venues.
Catherine will also be featuring in murder mystery drama The Good Ship Murder on Channel 5, playing First Officer Kate Woods. The Acting alumna will be on-screen with Shayne Ward, who won the second series of The X Factor and plays Jack Grayling, as the pair attempt to solve a spate of murders.
