The National Youth Orchestra (NYO) community of 2025 has been announced and includes five members of the Junior Conservatoire. NYO musicians are ambassadors for orchestral music and serve as role models for their generation.

The community consists of 201 young people from across the UK, of which 160 are musicians in the orchestra and the remainder are NYO guests and associates.

The orchestra has a focus on members from different regions and backgrounds making music together, while the guests and associates take part in various activities, contributing their own skills, passions and connections.

Junior Conservatoire members joining the NYO include Clarice Leung (Clarinet), Kylia Pai (Harp), Robin Ball (Clarinet), Maxim Eaton (Clarinet) and Holly Viner (Violin).

The Junior Conservatoire provides specialist musical tuition for talented young musicians. Including tutors from senior Conservatoire staff and members of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, as well as other professional musicians, the Junior Conservatoire offers courses on Classical, Jazz and Chamber music.
