Emma graduated in 2001 in Theatre design from University Of Central England and went on to have a freelance career for over 20 years. During that time she worked not only as a theatre designer but also scenic artist, commercial artist, prop maker, wardrobe mistress, puppet maker and artist tutor.
During her freelance career Emma worked for many companies including RSC, Birmingham Rep, Midlands Arts Centre, local TIE company The Play House and Women and Theatre.
Emma is currently working on a children’s picture book which she is illustrating and also works as an artist in her own right.
She loves countryside walks with her dog, adventures, old films, gardening, jazz music and cooking.
