Irish pianist David Quigley has performed recitals, concerti and chamber music throughout the world at venues such as the Musikverein Vienna, Carnegie Hall New York and Wigmore Hall London. He studied at Birmingham Conservatoire, Paris Conservatoire and the Franz Liszt Academy Budapest. David has been the recipient of many awards including the Royal Overseas League competition, the Myra Hess Award and the silver medal from the Worshipful Company of Musicians London. He is also a former finalist of the prestigious BBC Young Musician of the Year competition.

He has collaborated with many world class musicians including recitals with Nick Daniel (oboe), Richard Watkins (horn) and Andres Diaz (cello). He also performs regularly with his sister, violinist Joanne Quigley, and is a member of the Belfast Piano Trio. He broadcasts frequently for the BBC, RTE and other international radio stations. He has performed numerous concerti with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Ulster Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia, the Hallé Orchestra and Cairo Symphony Orchestra. Performances in 2010/11 include several solo recitals in the UK and Ireland, a tour of Ireland with the Belfast Piano Trio and concerts with his sister Joanne in Ireland, the UK and the USA.
