Jamie is now in his third year at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, studying with Douglas Mitchell, having previously been in the Royal College of Music Junior Department, where he studied with Jessie Grimes. He was also, prior to Junior Department at RCM, part of the Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra where his passion and excitement for orchestral playing started. He is a founding member of the Aura Clarinet Quartet and a member of the Amadeus Orchestra. Jamie hopes to pursue an orchestral career when he graduates. Other life goals include scoring a winning goal for Liverpool FC and eventually managing to get a passport.
Sarah is in the third year of her studies at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Recent solo performances have included recitals at Budleigh Music Festival and Wolverhampton St Peter’s, and taking part in Rachmaninov 150 celebrations at Ulverston International Music Festival. As an ensemble musician, Sarah performs regularly with friends, and has played orchestral piano for Amadeus Orchestra for the last two years.
