EcoSomatics Conversations Series: environmental awareness through embodiment

In this hybrid live/online iteration of an EcoSomatics conversation, curators of the series Polly Hudson and Karen Wood come together to reflect on conversations to date, discuss their own perspectives and practices in dance environmental awareness, and perhaps to find out things they did not already know about each other. 

The inaugural EcoSomatics Conversations Series invited sharing of engagement, practices and thinking around environmental awareness through embodiment activities, dance and art. It posited a definition of EcoSomatics as of the body-mind-ecology and took the form of four open public dialogues between two (or more) people: independent artists, practitioners, and academics. The conversations are co-convened by Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Birmingham Dance Network.
