Fancy a go at singing in a choir? Perhaps you’ve seen The Choir on BBC 1 and wondered what it would be like? Well, now is your chance.
The University is launching the BCU Chorus, a community choir open to staff, students and alumni. You don’t need to have any past experience of singing or reading music, just a love for music and some enthusiasm to give it a go.
Conservatoire choir master Chi Hoe Mak will be leading a taster session on Tuesday 17 April in Baker Hall from 5pm to 6:30pm with further taster sessions to follow at City South, Millennium Point and the Conservatoire (details below). For more information and to register contact Michele Mooney.
Tues 17 April at City North/Perry Barr from 1700-1830 in Baker Hall.
Wed 18 April at City South from 1700-1830 in Seacole Building room 312.
Thurs 19 April at Millennium Point from 1700-1830 in 203 Boardroom.
Fri 20 April at the Conservatoire from 1630-1800 room in LR1.
