The Royal College of Organists (RCO) announced its exam results recently, and postgraduate student Callum Alger was awarded a Fellowship Diploma (FRCO), with Durrant and Turpin Prizes, based on his exam performances. The prizes are highly coveted and provide support to students with the highest marks.
Current student Charlie Francis passed his FRCO playing with high marks, with the paperwork section upcoming. Likewise, current students Harvey Stansfield, Oliver Neale and Joshua Hughes also excelled in their exams and passed the Associateship Diplomas (ARCOs) playing sections.
These exams are internationally recognised benchmarks of professional competency in organ playing and associated areas.
Head of Organ Daniel Moult said: “We congratulate the wonderful achievements of our hard-working organ students. We are delighted for their success, which I think is unparalleled in recent times in the UK conservatoire sector."
