Student plays medieval gittern on BBC Radio 3

MMus Music Technology student Katherine Christie Evans featured on BBC Radio 3's 'Night Tracks' programme on Tuesday 25 January.

Hosted by Sara Mohr-Pietsch and Hannah Peel, the programme is billed as an "adventurous, immersive soundtrack for late-night listening, from classical to contemporary and everything in between". 

Katherine’s rendition, for voice and harp of ‘Puis Qu'en Oubli’, a love song by medieval French composer Guillaume de Machaut, featured on the show. She recorded, mixed and mastered the piece herself in RBC’s studios after the lockdown in Spring 2021.
