Max de Wardener

Royal Birmingham Conservatoire

Max de Wardener studied music at York University and Guildhall School of Music & Drama initially working as a bass player, recording and performing with artists such as Tom Arthurs, Plaid and Chartwell Dutiro.

Live electronics performances have included appearances at the Stavanger Nu Music Festival in Norway, Sonar (Barcelona and Hamburg), Ether at the south bank, as well as electronic music festivals in America and Japan. In 2006 Max toured England with his own band in a joint CMN tour alongside Michael Gordon's (Bang on a can) band.
