The  Career Zone offers impartial advice and support from qualified Careers Consultants about how you can develop employability skills whilst you are at university, as well as job and further study opportunities available to you once you have finished studying, and for up to five years after you’ve graduated.

The Employment Zone gives you access to jobs, work experience opportunities, and internships by advertising work opportunities online and promoting recruitment events throughout the year. It also delivers two mentoring schemes for students, giving you the opportunity to network with, and learn from local employers.

If you are an employer looking to raise your profile on campus, become a mentor or promote your work opportunities to our students and graduates, you can access our Recruiting Students & Graduates pages.

We hold information on graduate destinations which illustrates what our graduates who studied your course are doing now.

You can drop into the Student Services office for initial advice and arrange to speak to a Careers Consultant or simply browse through this section of our website for information on planning your career, searching out the latest jobs and advice or finding the perfect role in which you can apply your skills and knowledge.

Contact the Career Zone  or the Employment Zone team at the Student Services offices, telephone us on +44 (0)121 331 5588, submit an online query form at Ask Us or join us in one of our regular ChatLive chatrooms.
