    Dr Amna Nazir is an interdisciplinary academic with research expertise in Islamic law and international human rights. She is the Associate Director of the School of Law’s Centre for Human Rights and holds an Editorship at Harvard Law School’s renowned Program in Islamic Law.

    Prior to teaching Linda qualified as a solicitor at a large commercial practice in Birmingham (now DLA Piper). She subsequently worked in private practice primarily dealing with commercial litigation and corporate insolvency matters.

    Pamela Thomas is the LLB Admissions Tutor and a Lecturer in the School of Law. She is currently the module leader for the Legal Method module on the Post Graduate Diploma in Law and also Liaison Tutor for the LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology pathway.

    Senior Lecturer

    Alison Turnbull completed her first degree at the University of Leicester and went on to qualify as a solicitor in private practice, working with the firm Eversheds. She joined Birmingham City University in 1989.
