Sports Science

From September 17 a number of new courses related to Sports Science will be launched within the Faculty. In preparation for this we have been scoping the potential to develop online simulations to support learning and teaching within these courses. Early work has identified the following topic areas:

• Sports trauma training;
• Sports massage skills;
• Pitch side and clinic interventions;
• School sports scenarios;
• Lower limb injuries – examination and assessment – basic tests, key issues in examining and diagnosis formation;
• Anatomy visualisation and DICOM image manipulation.
