Bold imagery and dramatic, arresting physical weight combine to embody strength and power. Mild steel is composed and laser welded together, exploring the mechanical and industrial associations of ferrous materials. The work depicts a raw, chaotic surface quality at conflict with an addiction to order and symmetry. Creating a sense of self importance and burden, the pieces impose themselves onto the viewer physically and visually. Wearability is suited to the neck, arms and fingers. Integration compliments the identity of each composition.
