Carol Glaister

Carol qualified in 1993 from City University, London, and has worked in the NHS ever since, currently part-time as a Macmillan Speech and Language Therapist, working with people with Head and Neck Cancer. She previously worked in Wigan, St Helens and then Camden and Islington in specialist posts in Voice and post-Laryngectomy rehabilitation. Having worked for over five years as a visiting lecturer at the University of Manchester, she joined BCU as a part-time lecturer in January 2018 and set-up Communicate with Confidence sessions for trans clients as part of the services offered at BCU’s on-site (currently on-line) SLT clinic.
