Chris’s previous experience includes extensive work in web development as well working as a trainer in Microsoft technologies, carrying out professional training for many years across a multitude of programs as part of the Microsoft Academy.
He moved on to writing and teaching short academic courses as part of the CPS (Certificate in Professional Studies), and then took on module co-ordination duties as part of the FDSc in Information Communication Technologies, working with local colleges on the successful development and delivery of this course.
Chris has since taken on undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including MSc project supervision. In 2013, he became Programme Leader of the BSc Business Information Technology course.
In 2015, Chris was a finalist in the ‘Engaging & Inspiring Teacher of the Year’ category in the BCU Extra Mile Awards.
