Summer 2022 ceremonies

Our graduation venue

All BCU graduation ceremonies are held at Symphony Hall, which is run by the charity B:Music and is a part of the International Convention Centre (ICC).

The postcode of this venue is B1 2EA. A map showing the location of the Symphony Hall and ICC within Birmingham City Centre can be found on the Symphony Hall website.

Redevelopment of the Paradise Circus area of the city centre is still ongoing and while the city council is committed to keeping Birmingham working throughout this major transformation, there will be disruption around the area, including near to Symphony Hall, which could significantly affect your journey time.

To help make your journey as smooth as possible:

  • Plan ahead for travel
  • Leave the car at home whenever possible
  • Use public transport, walk or cycle
  • Allow plenty of time

Birmingham City Council have introduced a Clean Air Zone across the city, restricting free access for certain types of vehicles. For information, visit: www.brumbreathes.co.uk

Travelling by car

By car, Birmingham is easily accessible from the M5, M6, M40 and M42. Simply follow signs to Birmingham City Centre and then follow the tourist signs to the International Convention Centre (ICC). Please note, Symphony Hall is not featured on road signage.

Disabled Parking is located in Bay B at the back of the ICC building next to the Prince of Wales Pub.
