Dr Ann-Kathrin Johnen

Ann-Kathrin is a Lecturer in Psychology, with particular interest in cognitive ageing, memory, cognitive neuroscience, and emotional processing.

Before coming to BCU, Ann-Kathrin completed a PostDoc at the University of East Anglia, focusing on different types of memory in young and older adults. She completed her PhD at Liverpool Hope University in 2020 where she focused on the effects of expectations on emotional processing.
