Creative Self-Development: Rhino 3D (CAD) for Designer Makers - Fundamentals - CSD

Introduction

The course is intended for students and designer-makers who wish to acquire a solid foundation in the practical application of computer-aided design. The course covers the creation of 2D artwork for various applications including laser marking and graphic design. You will then move on to the creation of to-scale 3D obects, modelling strategies and preparing designs for creation into physical objects with rapid prototyping. Finally, you will pursue your own design projects, with guidance from the tutor.

No formal qualifications are required but you should be motivated and demonstrate an interest in the subject you wish to pursue. While largely for adults of all ages with some experience, there are a few opportunities for beginners.
