Services For Business
Over the past decade, Birmingham City Business School has provided help and assistance to thousands of businesses, large and small.
These organisations come from most areas of business and commerce.
The key driver for our services to business comes from The Centre for Leadership and Management Practice.
The Centre provides a tailored and blended approach to learning. Using interactive workshops and ‘day in the life of’ scenarios, we help managers gain insight that acts as a catalyst and enabler for change.
We are one of the leading providers of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships in the region. Our top graduates regularly work with companies in many areas and help deliver specific projects to help grow and get better at what they do.
Because of these successful initiatives – and others like them – we have forged strong partnerships with globally recognised brands such as A F Blakemore, Jewson, Mitchells and Butlers, Saint-Gobain and the Dudley Group of Hospitals.
How we can help you and your business
Because of the current tough trading conditions, companies in all sectors face many significant challenges.
From time to time, help is needed, but we recognise that different companies have different challenges. Through our student and graduates we can offer companies, tailored solutions.
How do we do this? Well, Birmingham City Business School maintains close links with industry at all times, to ensure that all of our courses are vocationally relevant and that we prepare our graduates in the right way for the commercial world outside.
This ensures that we develop students and graduates to meet these demands, by listening closely to what employers need. This way, our teaching is informed and we can produce skilled and employable students and graduates for all sectors.
To also help us do this and add greater value, we established an Advisory Board made up of highly experienced executives and senior managers from the world of business and public sector agencies. These industry leaders meet on a bi-annual basis to advise the Business School on all aspects of future plans and aspirations.
