School of Visual Communication
In celebrating the art of animation, illustration, photography, and design for theatre, the School of Visual Communication not only has an enviable reputation in the UK, but also teaches many of its courses in Hong Kong and Thailand.

School of Jewellery
Founded in 1890, the internationally-renowned School of Jewellery sits right at the heart of the city’s famous Jewellery Quarter, as the largest of its kind in Europe.
Students can choose from a unique portfolio of courses that includes jewellery, silversmithing, horology and gemmology. Close by, the Jewellery Industry Innovation Centre (JIIC), offers professional expertise in a range of industry-related techniques including Computer Aided Design (CAD), rapid prototyping and surface finishing.

School of Fashion, Textiles and Three Dimensional Design
With courses ranging from interior design, product design, fashion design, and textile design, the students from the School of Fashion, Textiles and Dimensional Design get to work on real-world projects that explore and reflect industry trends and practice.
Students are given access to state-of-the-art learning facilities at the Gosta Green campus, and are encouraged to work on ‘real-world’ projects.

School of Architecture
Celebrating its centenary in 2008, Birmingham School of Architecture is widely recognised for delivering learning excellence from experienced, industry professionals.
Graduates such as Associated Architects have been hailed by RIBA as “probably the best architectural practice outside London,” and have also been appointed to design the University’s multi-million pound City Centre Campus, due in 2013.
