Dr Peter Samuels
Senior Lecturer
Dr Peter Samuels obtained a BA in Mathematics from Cambridge University in 1987 (converted to an MA in 1991). In 2018, he was transferred to the Business School where he lectures and provides support to students and staff in research methods and research software.

Senior Lecturer in Operations Management
Dr. Shishank Shishank has a multidisciplinary background with a PhD in Operations Management from the University of the West of Scotland. His PhD brings together both management and engineering concepts and was titled Outsourcing: Decision-making during the stages of Design and Engineering.

Prior to joining Birmingham City University, Dr Susan Sisay was a legal practitioner specialising in corporate and commercial law. In addition to practice, she consulted for a number of local and international agencies on a number of issues.

John Sparrow, as a Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society, has used his unique skill set to write extensively on knowledge processes in organisations, including organisational cognition, knowledge management and reflective practice as they relate to knowledge creation and use.

Dr. Hui Wang joined Birmingham City University in 2016 as a senior lecturer within the Department of Strategy, Management and Marketing. Hui earned a Ph.D. at the University of Portsmouth in 2010 and started his academic career afterwards.
