Mohamed joined Birmingham City Business School as a Senior Lecturer in Accounting in Dec 2017.
Prior to joining Birmingham City Business School, Mohamed worked at Essex Business School as a Lecturer in Accounting, UK. He is graduated from Mansoura University, with a BSc degree in Accounting (with First Class Honours). He holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from The University of Strathclyde (with Distinction), and he is close to complete his PhD in Accounting from the University of Strathclyde.
Mohamed has presented his research papers at a number of national and international academic conferences, workshops, and seminars. Mohamed’s research interests are in the areas of Financial Reporting, Earnings Quality, Corporate Governance, Auditing, and Capital Market Consequences.
