The Graduate Re-tune project is a partnership between BCU, Aston University and Jobcentre Plus to help graduates re-engage with the job market.
Funded by the Office for Students, the first-of-its kind scheme will help alumni based in the Birmingham and Solihull areas with one-to-one support with a dedicated Graduate Re-tune adviser.
Graduate Re-tune will investigate the causes of local graduate unemployment and under-employment, and use this intelligence to pilot new progression and support opportunities that tackle skills gaps and personal barriers. It is the only scheme of its kind that sees universities working in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
If you are a BCU graduate receiving Universal Credit, the Graduate Re-tune scheme could help you secure a job where you can make the most of the skills gained during your studies.
To take part in the programme, you must be registered with a Job Centre based in Greater Birmingham or Solihull. Contact email@example.com for more information.
