BSc Social Work students at International Conference in Netherlands

Every year presents the unmissable experience for 4 or 5 BSc Social Work students go to the Netherlands to HAN University for their International Week. They take part in talks and workshops and also deliver their own workshop.

Elizabeth Scott - a member of the party attending the International Conference, said "International Study Week in Nijmegen was a real learning experience!! We gave a presentation on Wellbeing and Resilience which was interactive and engaging for us and the students/lecturers who attended our workshop.

We had the opportunity to attend various conferences which were enjoyable, insightful and informative. We even saw the house where Karl Marx's mom lived. We would recommend anyone going on an international study week as it provides the opportunity to see and experience new places, meet new people, share knowledge, and learn new skills, incorporating different perspectives and ideas of how social work is conducted and taught globally It was a great experience."
