Our Royal Birmingham Conservatoire graduates have gone on to star in or work behind the scenes of television shows, blockbuster movies and stage productions. Check out what some of our talented Alumni are up to this month.

Alumna returns to Channel 4 series

Channel 4 have confirmed that Nicola Coughlan, who graduated from our School of Acting in 2011, will return for Series Two of hit comedy ‘Big Mood’, written and created by fellow Royal Birmingham Conservatoire alumna, Camilla Whitehill.


Alumnus leads in Cinderella retelling

Rory Dulku, who graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2019, currently stars as Prince Kavi in Rifco Theatre Company's Surinderella.

Alumna makes West End debut

The long-running West End musical, The Phantom of the Opera, has unveiled new company members - including Royal Birmingham Conservatoire graduate Polly Clarke, set to make her West End debut!

Alumna to join international tour next year

Julia Holland, who graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2021, will be joining the cast of Spooked, by director Sean Aita, on tour in Austria from January 2026.

Alumnus joins live school theatre troupe

Sam Dinnage, who graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2024, has joined the Smashed Live alcohol education experience, touring schools across Scotland, North-East and Wales, tackling underage drinking and inspiring positive choices.
