BA (Hons) Stage Management alumna Alice Chapman is the Assistant Stage Manager (ASM) Book Cover on the Blood Brothers UK tour, which finished at the Birmingham Hippodrome last month and continues around the UK.
Bridgerton star returns for part two of latest series
Alumna Nicola Coughlan was back on our Netflix screens this month, for part two of Bridgerton’s third series. Penelope Featherington’s blossoming romance with Colin Bridgerton, played by Luke Newton, is the focus of this season.
Graduate nominated for TV award
Acting alumna Robyn Cara was nominated for a Gotham TV award, for ‘Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series’ for her role in the Netflix series ‘Bodkin’.

Acting alumnus Alex Frost, who graduated in 2012, stars in the latest Specsavers advert that is currently airing.
Alumna announced in cast of new Enid Blyton movie
Acting graduate Nicola Coughlan already has work lined up after Bridgerton! Nicola has been announced in the cast of ‘The Magic Faraway Tree,’ alongside Nonso Anozie and Jessica Gunning. On Instagram, Nicola said: “I’m so, so excited to be a part of this movie I can’t even express it, and this cast is so incredible, feel so lucky.”
Graduate company comes back to Birmingham
This month, RBC graduate company Calathea Arts came back to the Old Joint Stock in Birmingham to present ‘Wise Women’, written by Acting graduates Charis McRoberts and Ruth Mestel, and starring Acting graduate Skye Witney as Margaret.
Graduate pens new TV show
Acting graduate Charles Stewart, under the pen name Charles II, has written an epic fantasy TV series called Dead Hero, produced by Ivy Lion Productions, which is to star Wendell Pierce.
