BCU Alumni Podcast with Professor David Mba

In late 2023, Professor David Mba joined BCU as our new Vice-Chancellor. David joined BCU from the University of the Arts London, where he was Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Knowledge Exchange, and Enterprise. 

Prior to his role in London, David held senior leadership posts at Cranfield University, London South Bank University and De Montfort University. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, as well as a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is also a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and has led numerous commercial and publicly funded research projects.

David is an alumnus of the University of Hertfordshire, where he graduated from in 1995 with a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, before completing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Cranfield University in 1999.
