An Offer Holder Day is more in-depth than an Open Day and gives you a more tailored experience. You’ll find out more about your course and hear about the student experience through taster sessions and opportunities to meet academic staff and current students. You can also visit our accommodation and chat to our support services.
If you have already been to an Open Day, this is your chance to explore your course and department in more detail and if not, you’ll get an in-depth introduction to studying here.

Lunch is included for offer holders and parents/guardians. Staff and students will also be available during this period to answer any questions you may have about studying at BCU.

Tutorial: Get Inspired
During this session, you will have the chance to explore your creative style and be inspired by our academics and other students. We will break out into small groups in a tutorial-style session, reflecting how you’ll be taught if you choose to study at BCU. Our academics will work closely with you to understand your unique style and provide feedback on your work and ideas, allowing you to develop further as a creative individual.
Please feel free to bring a piece of your creative work from school or college, or work that has inspired you to this session.

Offer holders: Creative Practice
For the second session of your taster day, you will use insights and inspiration from the first tutorial to create something unique. Using our specialist spaces and facilities, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on and craft something that reflects your creative style.
You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your work with course tutors throughout the session, so that you leave with newfound inspiration that you can reflect in your future creative work.
Parents/guardians: Q&A with our support services
Colleagues from Accommodation and Student Support will be available to answer any questions you may have.
