As a Chartered Physiotherapist and Sports Therapist, Peter has over a decade of experience working in basketball, football and netball. Peter is currently the clinical lead for the Great Britain Senior Women's Basketball Team, overseeing all performance and medical services.
He has travelled the globe working at the Commonwealth Games 2018, European Championships, and Olympic Qualifiers. More recently, Peter supported the 3x3 Basketball England Team at the Commonwealth Games, Birmingham 2022.
As an Associate Professor, Peter has significant experience of teaching and leadership in higher education.
Arriving in 2016, Peter successfully designed and validated the initial BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy, and after three consecutive 100% student satisfaction scores in the National Student Survey, continues to lead the sports therapy team as they aim to delivery one of the best sports therapy courses in the UK.
Furthermore, Peter is also a Quality and Enhancement Lead for the School of Health Sciences, where he supports course teams with all quality related matters, oversees course reapprovals and validations, and strives to enhance the academic quality across the School.
Peter has presented at international conferences and published research in a number of peer-reviewed journals.
Peter teaches across the Sports Therapy and Sport and Exercise courses.
