Now in its fifth consecutive year, Innovation Fest is a showcase of creative talent from the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment at Birmingham City University. Encouraging learners to tackle real problems with research and innovation, the festival allows students to engage in enterprise and develop themselves as future world-changers.
The Festival is designed to contribute to the knowledge economy, increase students' employability by providing them with genuine portfolio material and support the entrepreneurial talent of our students and future graduates.
The 2018 Festival takes place on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 May and will be held at Millennium Point. The first day is open to the public and visitors, and the second is for our industry judges to come and check out our students' innovations.
This year we are also inviting local school groups to take part in interactive workshops and activities using the technology on display at the Festival.
