Centre for Brexit Studies Senior Fellow Dr Steven McCabe has shared his thoughts and views on coronavirus (COVID-19) and the impact that lockdown has had on UK workers.
With the number of people claiming work-related benefits soaring to 2.8 million, the expert has discussed when we will be able to fully understand the impact that the ongoing crisis has had on employment in the UK.
In the video shared today, Dr McCabe also discussed if the two-metre distancing rule will be scrapped to give the economy, and especially the hospitality industry, a boost.
The expert also discussed the impact that COVID-19 is already having on the tourism industry in the UK, and what the impact could be long-term on the sector.
