Political figures discuss General Election 2019

Political figures from across the West Midlands joined forces at the Centre for Brexit Studies Brexit Breakfast event last week to share their knowledge, thoughts and views around this month’s General Election.

The discussion was hosted by Professor Alex de Ruyter, Director at the Centre for Brexit Studies, and panel members included Dr Ellie Chowns MEP, Green Party Member of the European Parliament for the West Midlands region and Parliamentary Candidate for North Herefordshire, Adrian Bailey, Former Labour MP for West Bromwich West and Aaron Hudson, Pro-Brexit Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Stourbridge.

The panel also included David Craddock, Chair of the West Midlands Liberal Democrats and Annette Willcox, Brexit Party Candidate for Birmingham Perry Barr.

Panel Members discussed December’s General Election, each party’s policy, what we can expect from the outcome and politics in 2020.
