‘Low-Skilled’ immigration plans and a possible Labour-Lib Dem Coalition

UNIVERSITY NEWS LAST UPDATED : 20 FEBRUARY 2020

Centre for Brexit Studies Researcher David Hearne has shared his expertise and views on the news announced this week that low-skilled workers will not get visas under post-Brexit immigration plans.

In a video shared today, the expert discusses the impact that the immigration plans could have on the economy and workforce, and if these ‘low-skilled’ jobs will be up for grabs for British citizens once the UK has fully left the EU.

David also discusses the Labour Leadership race, and which contender is the most ‘moderate’, and if we could expect a Labour and Liberal Democrats Coalition in the future.
