Centre for Brexit Studies Researcher David Hearne has shared his thoughts and views on coronavirus (COVID-19) and if the British Government are doing enough for businesses and those impacted by the virus.
In a video shared today, the expert discussed if more businesses will shift their staff and resources towards combating COVID-19, following in the footsteps of Mercedes F1, who are manufacturing breathing aids, BrewDog, who are making hand sanitiser and EasyJet, who are encouraging their staff to volunteer for the new UK hospitals. David also discusses if a recession is now unavoidable and the impact this could have on the UK economy.
