UNIVERSITY NEWS LAST UPDATED : 19 MARCH 2020

Centre for Brexit Studies Researcher David Hearne has shared his thoughts and views on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the impact it could have on people's lifestyle, as well as the UK economy and future.

In a video shared today, the expert discusses the impact of Coronavirus on the UK so far, and what we could expect from the coming months, as well as if Chancellor’s Rishi Sunak’s £350 billion lifeline for the economy is enough or if we can expect this figure to rise significantly soon.

David also discusses the impact on Brexit. With talks and negotiations now being on hold, will this make a 'hard' Brexit more likely?
