The future of the Construction sector in a post-Brexit landscape and its issues for operations, supply chains and HR will be discussed at an upcoming Brexit Breakfast event hosted by the Centre for Brexit Studies.

The Centre’s Brexit Breakfast events have returned for 2019, offering attendees the opportunity to discuss Brexit and how it will impact them and their industry, as well as the chance to network with other business professionals, and enjoy breakfast and refreshments before starting their working day.

The first event in the series will focus on the Construction Industry, Brexit’s current and future impact on it and what lays in store after October 31st, with analysis and discussion from a variety of panel members.

Taking place at Birmingham City University on Friday May 31st, 7.30am-9am, the event will offer an insightful and interesting discussion with panel members, including Professor David Bailey, Mike Leonard, Professor Alex de Ruyter, Dr Steven McCabe and more to be announced.

Panel Members:

Mike Leonard - CEO at Building Alliance

Professor David Bailey - Economist at the Birmingham Business School at University of Birmingham and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Regional Studies

Professor Alex de Ruyter - Director at the Centre for Brexit Studies and board member of the Regional Studies Association

Dr Steven McCabe - Associate Professor at The Institute for Design and Economic Acceleration (IDEA)
