A University academic has recently picked up a major industry award for their work in accountancy teaching.
Course leader in Business Accounting Margaret Saunders scooped the Bronze Excellence in Teaching prize at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Excellence Awards, announced earlier this month.
The CIMA Excellence Awards are presented annually to those who have made a difference to the global accounting community and proactively supported their students towards earning their Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, the most widely held management accounting designation in the world.
Margaret said: “I am honoured and delighted to be recognised for this industry award. This is a reflection of the fantastic students and their hard work.”
