Next Conservatoire Open Day: Wednesday 13 June 2018
Our Open Days are held twice a year, in January and June. These are designed to give you a real insight into life as a conservatoire student and involve introductory talks, guided tours and chances to meet staff and students.
Our Open Days cover all of our Music and Acting undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Registration and the Music & Acting main welcome talks will be in our new building on Jennens Road.
Please note that the information available for Music courses are for the senior conservatoire only. For more information about the Junior Conservatoire contact the team here.

We are offering free tickets to our Master’s students’ theatre production 'Crimes of the Heart', taking place in the Old Rep Theatre at 7.30pm, stick around and we guarantee you’ll be impressed! As this production is taking place in an external venue, we ask that you book your free ticket online here.
Free Young Artists Recital at 5pm: Recital Hall
We’re offering free tickets to a Young Artist Recital (featuring Edward Leung, Andrei Ivanov and Roman Kosyakov) taking place in our Recital Hall at 5pm. Book online here (enter promotional code OPEN DAY) or sign up at the Registration/info desk.
Stage Management Paper Installation
Whether you’re visiting because you’re interested in studying our BA (Hons) Stage Management course or not, we’d highly recommend you stop by our Patricia Yardley Studio (level 1, Millennium Point) to check out the first year students’ amazing paper installation. Stunning scenes and sculptures made entirely out of paper, cardboard and tape, with a live sound and lighting experience to transport you to a different world!
If you'd like to view examples of student accommodation during your visit, there will be tours running at regular 15 minute intervals during the day to University Locks and Jennens Court; two of the accommodation options the University has to offer. We will be making an online booking system available for these tours, and you'll also be able to sign up in person when you arrive.
Please be aware that the accommodation available to view at our June Open Day is already oversubscribed for the coming academic year, 2018/19. Whilst at present prospective students for 2018/19 can apply for them, we do not guarantee preference and they may be allocated at one of the other halls within our portfolio.
